Ellis developed a deep appreciation and understanding of the human anatomy from spending hours in studio drawing courses while achieving his Bachelor of Fine Arts from MICA. This experience led directly to his interest in body work as a career path.
After certification and extensive training with The Center for Natural Wellness in New York, Ellis has flourished building a clientele over the past 8 years. Though he excels at deep tissue massage, which can offer more immediate and measurable results, he has grown to deeply respect modalities like Shiatsu and Reiki. Changes in the body and mind from such Eastern traditions can be profound, whether subtle or pronounced.
“It has been my good fortune to love what I do, and I now consider it my permanent career and ongoing education.” – Ellis
